The congress venue, the Department of Engineering at the University of Palermo, is conveniently located near the city center and 10 minutes walking distance from the Arab-Norman Palermo Itinerary, which is one of the seven UNESCO World Heritage sites present in Sicily.
As emphasized in the home page, the Workshop represents a forum where experts from around the world discuss the latest advancements and breakthroughs in the field of SHM, smart materials, intelligent systems, and nondestructive evaluation.
